Oh hey, I haven't used this thing in a while, have I? ...Somebody said something about shocks the other day...

--looks like it's not shocking me, though! Haha, safe. So! Uh. I had a reason to post this, actually. Anybody around here know if there's somewhere I can crash? It looks like I'm not getting sent home anytime soon, and trying to find spots in those buildings without monsters just isn't working out great for me. It doesn't have to be nice or anything! Just, you know. Someplace where I don't have to sneak away from those stupid dog things at two in the morning.

And does all the food around here come in cans or from the soup kitchen? ...Um, that is to say. Anywhere a guy might be able to barter for some pie~?

Making it isn't really the problem, is it? I mean, anyone can make a pie. It's finding the ingredients. I suppose if anyone has them, though, it would be someone that works with the soup kitchen.

Yeah, that's a good point... but it seems like they manage quite a few things here, and those are people who've managed to find ingredients before. And hey, I don't mind helping look for stuff! The forest looks like it's still alive, even if all the plants in town are kind of sorry-looking. There have to be things growing somewhere!

I think you're probably more likely to find canned stuff. And I wouldn't suggest going into the forest unless you're good at fighting things. I've seen monsters during my flights over it.

No, I didn't mean I - well, you know, most people where I'm from can't fly at all, haha.

...And yeah. I like gardening, but I don't think I could do too much with this soil; not without mulch and seeds. And everything I've found in town is dead.

...I'm not sure. The only winged beings I know of are the tengu - crow spirits - in their Illusionary World forms--

Ah! I know tengu! .. I mean, not personally, of course, but Chihaya and I lived in Japan for a while and I studied a lot of the myths and things while we were there. I didn't know they were real, though.

I'm an angel, of course I do. There are things that we're not supposed to talk about, too. Technically, humans aren't even supposed to see us as we really are, but since I can't hide my wings here, that has posed a problem.
