[008 | voice, Japanese | text translation]

Funny weather we've got today.

So me and Hisoka are moving upstairs - I figured the room's a little too crowded to stick around in forever. Okita-san, are you done with the broom? Can I borrow it back? There's enough dust over here to choke a horse.

We ought to see if there's anything we can do to make this place look homier, too. Maybe some plants! Or curtains. I guess carpet's kind of out of the question.

[locked to YnM shinigami]

Watari, Hisoka... either of you have any idea what this weird feeling is?

It feels like something is threatening to happen. I don't like it.

We could always ask Kantarou ~

I'm thinking about how in the eyes of someone else, that would be quite another experience altogether...

Good idea! I'm starting to feel like this chip really is a pain.

Huh?

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
I agree ~ Guess 002, 003 and I had better start working on a chip detector thing... anything ~

It's nothing ~

Yeah, given the speed we heal here, I don't think just digging around for it would be a very good idea.

Aah, just the thought - [shudders audibly]

I actually had a theory that if perhaps I experimented on eliminating parts of the body, I'd get to the area where they planted the chip eventually. Logically speaking, the stress on our bodies and the eventual death it may cost should be a moot point as long as the chip can be eliminated...

But well, somebody said something about ninja scientists kidnapping "dead" bodies, so that's out of the question...

[identity profile] cinnagami.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
...Shit, Watari. I don't think you can count on things growing back after the chip is out. Not if it heals like it would on a mortal in the meantime.... That is a really bad idea.

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Theoretically speaking, regardless of whether or not it'll heal as fast it should originally, with the main obstacle out... it should, eventually. I mean, it's only an understandable hypothesis after seeing what happens to someone without a chip.

It's something that muffles!

But, I'm not so desperate to resort to that, yet.

Yeah. Work on making some kind of detector first.

If there isn't one already... I mean, the people who have had theirs removed must have had some way of finding where it is, right?

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
They keep saying something about getting them to take it out for you, but I'm not sure I like the idea of someone else poking around my pretty body ~

I was going to bribe Lucca-chan with laundry coupons...

Sometimes you really scare me, Watari.

...Just be careful about it!

{ same lock ; voice }

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
We're always careful!

{ same lock ; voice }

[identity profile] cinnagami.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
You know, I can think of a couple counterexamples to that.

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
So says the man who introduced himself to a city of possible-bad-guys down to his blood type...

{ same lock ; voice }

[identity profile] cinnagami.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
So maybe the blood type part was a bad idea.

I didn't say I was always careful.

{ same lock ; voice }

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
A very bad idea!

And you should really watch out more for yourself...

{ same lock ; voice }

[identity profile] cinnagami.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, yeah. I think those glasses are exerting some kind of mind control powers, Watari. Put them in a lead box, hurry!

[ clearing throat sounds ]

Tsuzuki, you need to take better care of yourself or I'm liable to deduct your paycheck for this month!

Aaaah!

All right, that's it, intervention time--

Ah! So gullible!

[identity profile] cinnagami.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
Don't try to get out of this! You're having delusions of authority!

{ same lock ; voice }

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
But your resident, and very special, nurse slash scientist does have authority!

I'm pretty sure my pay is a bit higher...

Only because mine keeps getting docked. I have seniority!

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
Don't you want to be taken care of by me, 002 and 003 ~?

{ same lock ; voice }

[identity profile] cinnagami.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
That depends on how much you're planning to act like Tatsumi.

[identity profile] scienceinacan.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
I can't cook as well, but you know I won't charge you exorbitant prices just for a bowl of rice ~

Fine, fine, I guess I can deal with it!
